Can you imagine Christian Bale being frozen in ice and having that be taken seriously as a realistic threat?   Yes I can imagine that. I cannot imagine keeping a straight face while Tom Hardy wears a luchador mask and attempts to injure Christian Bale while speaking in a Spanish accent. that’s just as judgmental as saying you can’t take christian bale seriously when he’s speaking with an american accent as batman. seriously, if someone is a good actor, it doesn’t matter if they’re playing cross-cultural characters.
